Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data Seymour Travel processes when you use this website and its forms, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights under Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP).

1. Who is responsible

2. Which data we collect

We only process the data you give us in the website forms and a few technical details needed for them to work and to protect them from abuse.

Trip planner (Design your trip)

• Your name.
• The destination or region, travel styles, approximate month, number of adults and children, and budget range you choose.
• The specific destination, if you picked it from a destination page.

Flight ticket quote

• Origin city (optional), destination, departure date, return date (if any), whether the trip is round trip, and the number of passengers.

Technical data from both forms

• The site language, the page you sent the form from, the date and time you accepted this policy, and your browser type (user agent).
• An irreversible fingerprint of your IP address (a keyed hash), used only to limit repeated or automated submissions. Our database does not store your IP address in clear text; the hosting provider may record it in its own technical logs.

The forms do not ask for your phone number or email. If you then message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and the content of your message.

3. What we use it for

• Answering your request and preparing the trip proposal or flight quote you asked for.
• Contacting you on WhatsApp about that request.
• Protecting the website from automated or abusive submissions.

We do not use this data for third-party advertising or to make automated decisions about you.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent, which you give by ticking the acceptance box before sending a form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf (processors):

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Neon: the database where the requests sent through the forms are stored.
• Sanity: the site's content management system and image delivery network. It does not receive your form data.
• WhatsApp (Meta): when you open WhatsApp to send us your summary, the message travels through that service and is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

To prepare your trip we may share with local operators, hotels or airlines only the data needed for that purpose, and only when you ask us to or accept a proposal. We do not sell your data.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside Ecuador, for example in the United States. The final version will detail the safeguards that apply to each transfer.

7. How long we keep it

We keep the data from your requests for [plazo a definir]. After that we delete or anonymize it. If you ask for deletion earlier, we handle it as the law requires.

8. Cookies

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is completely infallible, which is why we limit the data we ask for to what is necessary.

11. Minors

This website is not directed at minors. The forms only ask how many children are traveling and do not collect data about them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows the current version.
